By this time Frida's health has deteriorated even more. In an entry in her diary Frida draws herself sitting on a pedestal with a missing leg and a hand and head falling to the ground. The caption reads: "Yo soy la DESINTEGRACION" (I am the disintegration) . In this painting, the head and limbs of the figure are missing and the body is disintegrating and melting into the background.

This painting is a violent expression of the physical pain that Kahlo has had to endure.

En este momento, la salud de Frida se había deteriorado aun más. En una entrada de su diario, Frida se dibujó en un pedestal con una pierna de menos y una mano y la cabeza cayendo al suelo. El pie del dibujo dice "Yo soy la DESINTEGRACION". En esta pintura, faltan la cabeza y miembros de la figura y el cuerpo se está desintegrando y fundiendo en el suelo.

Está pintura es una expresión violenta del dolor físico que Kahlo tenia que soportar.
